Deck Technician
About the Role
We're hiring a Deck Restoration Technician to join our crew. In this role, you'll travel to residential properties in a company vehicle to clean, stain, and seal wood decks and outdoor structures. From weathered backyard decks to elevated multi-story builds, you'll bring them back to life with a professional finish. All equipment, materials, and supplies are provided.
You'll arrive at scheduled job sites ready to work, starting with surface preparation — cleaning, sanding, and prepping the deck for coating. From there, you'll apply stains, sealers, or protective finishes using sprayers, rollers, and brushes depending on the project. You'll evaluate the condition of each deck, identify any boards or structural issues that may need attention, and communicate with homeowners about the scope of work. You'll be expected to keep your equipment clean and in working order and leave every job site looking sharp.
