Soft washing cleans your home with low pressure, a high volume of water, and a cleaning solution that kills algae and mildew at the root instead of blasting the surface.
Our machines run at roughly 90 PSI for a soft wash. That is about the strength of a garden hose. The cleaning solution does the work. It goes on, dwells for 15 to 20 minutes, and everything green and black lifts off and rinses away clean.
This is the method shingle and siding manufacturers like GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed recommend for their own products. High pressure on siding can force water behind vinyl, crack Hardie board, and strip paint. Soft washing gets a better clean without any of that risk.
It also lasts longer. A pressure rinse pushes the algae around and it comes right back. A soft wash kills it, so most customers do not call us again for one to two years. That is the whole reason soft washing is the way to go on siding and roofs.
