No. We soak all landscaping with fresh water before we start and rinse everything again when we are done. Once it dries, it is completely safe for kids, pets, and plants.
Here is how we do it. Before we mix a drop of solution, every plant and section of grass within reach gets soaked with fresh water. Wet plants do not absorb overspray. When the wash is finished we rinse all of it again.
Keep pets inside while we work and give things about an hour to dry afterward. That is the whole precaution list.
We have been washing houses in Lexington since 2009 and we have never had a landscaping issue. If you have a prize rose bed or a koi pond, point it out when we quote the job and we will plan around it.
